Why Don't "Christian" Zionists Officially Convert?

Most Jews share common racial characteristics. However, that is not an absolute rule because Judaism accepts converts and therefore even one without those racial characteristics is still very much a Jew. Even someone as gentile as Haman, an Amalekite [Esther 3:1; 1 Samuel 15:8], had descendants who converted to Judaism and became respected scholars [Talmud Gittin 57b, Sanhedrin 96b].

Judaism is a religion in that there are basic beliefs and practices that are incumbent on each Jew. Some have converted. Many have half-converted. By saying Jews are God's people they have already stopped being Christian. Many of them celebrate Jewish holidays rather than Christian holidays and embrace the star of David over the cross. The only real thing standing in their way of full conversion is their belief that Jews are a race. I don't know how they can reconcile conversion with their race belief and you can't get them to explain themselves any more than you can get blood from a rock.

That's the thing in the nutshell. Dispies see Jews like limousine liberals see "the noble savages" - things that are to be abstractly admired and idolized, but only from a comfortable distance.

Or it's a bit like wealthy suburban whigger fanboys who superficially imitate Black inner-city thugs - without moving into the ghetto themselves, of course! Likewise, Christian Zionists idolize Orthodox Jews without having any serious intention of "moving into ghetto" themselves.

They are naive people who actually do somewhat resemble the original Crusaders who had very little idea about what the "Holy Land" was really like when they first set out on their quixotic journey.

Right. Most of the Christian Zionist movement is in the South, which is heavily Black, but not very Jewish. Unless you live in big cities or enter certain profession, you aren't likely to know many Jews.

(Most, don't even understand the difference in pastoring a church, vs bringing in an evangelists for revival?)

1.) Christian Zionists still believe that Jesus is the Messiah, which makes this unclean to the Rabbis. They think that Jews must accept Jesus, although their evangelism is laced with constant apologies for anti-Semitism.

2.) The more radical ones say that we ought not evangelize Jews, because they are saved by the Law. Yet they would still say that Christianity is the rule for Gentiles.

3.) The culture and practices of Judaism are exotic to these people, who are typically Middle American. They don't know any Jews personally and they are utterly clueless about the JQ. They think the Jews are devout, conservative people who simply disgree about theology.

I'm standing in the bank line last week, with only a jew in front of me, and the bank teller is testifying to him?
