I'm wondering if the newbies were a 'rent-a-crowd' from the Salvation Army and the Rescue Mission. LOL.
Frank: "I'm up for blindly following you - lead on."
No, No! Analyze everything.
Perhaps, like the Phoenix, something will get revived out of these on going "Tea Parties"?...............A third party?![]()
I suspect whatever stance you take on the LofS I'd agree on without knowing the details, though yea I'm not only reading folks in here.
I googled Edgerton - I don't understand the point of attending a Southron org that declares blacks Southron. Secede to build our own Babel, what? The CofCC's probably the best.
I like what I read from Dr. Hill, Dr. Tuggle, and probably others in there though.
Frank: "Secede to build our own Babel, what?"
I agree. I can't stand compromise.
Ya see where CWNY and SWB support the return of a godly, principled monarchy?
Rushdoony wanted a theocracy.
IMO, nothing short of Biblical law is sustainable. Man's organisations and devices will always compromise and fail. (Cursed democracy).
Biblical law is way easier for all to understand than the USA and IRS Codes.
"I like what I read from Dr. Hill, Dr. Tuggle, and probably others in there though."
They sound good as long as they aren't compromising. Most of what they say sounds good.
How bout a "Meritocracy Republic" with Christian rules and values?![]()
"How bout a "Meritocracy Republic" with Christian rules and values?"
Do you have a link?
Actually, Rushdoony believed the Old Republic was a theocracy in essence, based on the Ten Commandments.
The theonomists could never explain just what they meant by Biblical Law. They went from the Ten Commandments to Leviticus to Leviticus plus case laws. The OT laws were never intended to survive indefinitely and were never meant to be enforced in the 21st Century.Biblical law is way easier for all to understand than the USA and IRS Codes.
