Laughing at the SPLC: Mike Tuggle's ingenuity

The SPLC is the main "hate group" watching organisation.

Its labels are meant to be unwanted. So, what if sites so labeled were to laugh at the SPLC rather than to put up that old crossed out Klan picture that used to be everywhere. Deny the slur, and the slur has a way of sticking. But laugh at and mock the organisation giving it and you've defeated the watch group.

Really, sites ought to take pride in being called out by the SPLC - that means something good is being done and that said extremist site actually appears to be having an effect.

Maybe in a year or two we'll post the SPLC rankings on various sites, each competing for higher ranking... At the least, I'd love for the SPLC mock picture to spread as that Klan photo did.

Part of the genius behind Tuggle's photo, and he might not even be its creator, is the dollar sign there - it not so subtlety states the SPLC is after money; it's corrupt. Tuggle's one of the first to host a picture mocking the SPLC on his site's main page, and that's why I say he's a genius here.

I don't see a House Nigger in that SPLC photo. I have read that they have a hard time getting and keeping a job there.

They also complain about the "slave drivers" in the SPLC's office.
