Educators or Recruiters?

I couldn't find the script for this but it deserves discussion.....IMHO we don't need a public military school!
As a matter of fact.........the government needs to leave our children alone!

Re: Educators or Recruiters?

First of all, welcome to the board, Supplanter!

As for this military public school, I can't help feeling concerned about it, either, even though it's voluntary. They say its purpose isn't recruitment, and I say "bullsh!t."

If "our" military today were being used solely to defend this nation, then I would have no problem whatsoever with any recruitment efforts. But we know darned well that "our" military is now practically a proxy for the Israeli military. Recruitment efforts ruthlessly and cynically exploit citizens' patriotic feelings (and often promise goodies like money for college) in order to lure them into that trap.

I can see the beginnings of a trend here. Start going after them while they're even younger and more impressionable. Immerse them in a culture designed to purge their minds of any tendency to question "authority." Feed them lots of dog crap about how America heroically "fights for freedom" around the world -- just be sure not to mention any of the brutal puppet dictatorships set up and maintained by the US in places like South America, or the atrocities perpetrated by Israel with full US support, or the fact that the same communist Chinese government that committed the Tiananmen Square massacre has "most favored nation" trade status in the US. Above all, teach them to fly the flag and wear the uniform proudly, because America has nothing to be ashamed of -- everything we do is okay, since we're the Good Guys!

Re: Educators or Recruiters?

Thanks Angler for the welcome! But I have been around OD since 2001, not real active in posting mostly here to glean info. But I have been silent too long....its time to speak up and shout out or kiss the America we know and love good bye!
Like I said in my original post...."the government needs to leave our children alone!" They are already brainwashed too much now in public schools!
I also agree with your choice of Ron Paul for President! He is American's hope to return it to the Constitutional rule of law to reel in Congress, most people that have a problem with him is due mainly to his stance against the ME war...by dissing him they are in turn wiping their butts on the Constitution an all it stands for!
I'm an old man and I may not win the fight but by the power of God before I die I am sure going to endeavor to leave a mark!
